Payout method Description
..
Share all If nobody has a winning 2nd leg jackpots are shared by 1st leg ticket holders.
..
Closest number If nobody has a winning 2nd leg ticket the jackpot is given away to the person(s) holding a ticket which comes closest to the winning combination.
..
Rollover These are almost always Tri-Super jackpots which keep growing until they are hit. This obviously makes for very big carryover and huge Tri-Super jackpots.
..
Guaranteed

The same as a regular jackpot pool with one exception, the track guarantees the jackpot will not be smaller than the set minimum amount guaranteed. Exp: a $25K guaranteed jackpot always pays at least $25K on the 2nd or payoff leg.

..
Capped

This is also almost always a Tri-Super jackpot that has reached it's set limit. Some of these jackpots are given away once they reach $50K, $100K & $500K! These are the biggest jackpots in greyhound racing. Everyone always chases these jackpots knowing they will reach a mandatory given away day.

On this day 100% of the first leg is paid to all first leg trifecta winners (less the track take out). So, the payouts are always much bigger than normal when the amount bet is divided by 50% and carried over to the second leg.
